Join the CareFlight Woodford to Glenbrook Classic 2017 and run or ride the Oaks Fire Trail through the picturesque Blue Mountains National Park from the town of Woodford down to Euroka Clearing near Glenbrook to raise funds for CareFlight.
Covering 25 kilometres of undulating bushland, the trail is incredibly scenic and a must for keen mountain bikers and trail runners. The event will finish with a community fair-style reception in the beautiful Euroka Clearing.
Registrations essential, no entries accepted on the day of the event.
This event has been running for over a decade and attracts almost 1,000 competitors annually. It has something for everyone, regardless of their skill level. Treat it as a physical and mental challenge or just a chance to enjoy the pristine mountain air. The race attracts many serious mountain bikers who use this event as preparation and training.
Since 1986, CareFlight a not-for-profit charity, has given the people of New South Wales one of the world’s most advanced and medically proficient rapid response emergency helicopter and medical retrieval services, with more than 17,500 patients being treated and transported in the past 30 years.
