The Burning of the Barrel has quickly turned into an icon event of the Hunter Valley Food and Wine Festival. It is an absolute spectacular of an evening where, in a nutshell, they build a massive fire, drink some very tasty wines, dine on some fantastic food, enjoy amazing soups, gorge on locally made cheeses, listen to some great music and have quite possibly the best night of the year the Hunter Valley has to offer!
In the past they have seen and tried just about everything and last year’s fireworks display was something to behold. This year, Andy from the The Cellar Restaurant will be on the pans again dishing up an awesome fireside menu for you to enjoy.
This year promises to be an absolute cracking evening.
There is free parking available onsite should you be driving. However, there will be a bus service operating with set pick up and drop off times from around the Valley. You will need to contact the bus company directly to book your service.
